First heavy snow in north part of uk for the past 3 years...I was really happy but then the snow did affect my daily life...i was stuck inside the house, instead of going to leeds for shopping with my fren. The pathways were covered by snow and made it difficult to walk on it , also it start melting a little bit when the sun came out, still it turned slippery. I slipped down few times =(

Hospital placement~~

Woke up about 7am and got ready for the one day placement in Sunderland Royal Hospital, i never know it only takes 7min to walk from Precinct to the hospital. Met up with Darryl and another gurl at the entrance there, then we waited for about few minutes time. There came the Clinical Pharmacist, Amina Ali introduced herself and brought us walk around, especially to the ward which the patients receiving logn term medications care. Shes a band 6 clinical pharmacist, freshly graduated lasy July from Manchester Univeristy.

First we put our coat in the lockers before we head to the ward. I was wearing a white top with a black stripes vest, i do look smart and professional today. *as after the placement, i went back for lectures, all my classmates were looking at me, i felt like a shinning star, happy~~*

After that, we went to the Aseptic department, but we din manage to get into it. Just a brief introduction by one of the staffs, she told us theres the place where they prepare the dextrose, IV injections, all those sterile preparations. I had aseptic lab before on my 214 microbiology lab, it was so damn cool. i was dressed up in a proper white gown, exactly looked like an alien!

She brought us to the dispensary, Oh! theres like 15++ staff inside. Pharmacists, technicians, dispensers....The medication shelves are just messy. She introduced another pharmacist named Paul to us too. i forgot wats hes doing? something related with patients drug history i guess....Next, we went to the stock room, where all the drugs are kept.

Then only we went to another building, to the wards. The pharmacist is not doing out patient wards today, so what we can see is only those old people, sleeping or eating slowly on their bed. walking slowly....sitting on a wheel chair. Honestly, i dun like the working environment in that ward, feeling dirty and no energy at all. i shouldnt feel that way, too mean! She then showed us the patient drug history, as theres new patients came in everyday. Basically she need to review their drugs before they can be supplied. Each one of them taking more than 10++ medications daily. Horrible isit? SHe explain to us what sort of role of a pharmacist, basically what she does everyday!

In the end, we spent another 1 hour inside the office, to do 3 case study:
A woman pregnant with 15weeks, is given Ranitidine(ulcers treating) for her indigestion. Is this drug safe for her?
A patient is non-compliant with a current medication on risperidone(treating chronic psychoses), what advide should i give if the consultant wish to swtich it to long-acting depot injection?
Lastly, can ganciclovir(Anti-viral drugs) cause seizures(convulsions)?

Thats all for this placement and i wil have my community placement tomorow together with Darryl again at Seaton, Northumberland. 45min drive from Sunderland, pretty far away. Luckily, hes driving so we dun need to ride a metro till Haymarket, then another an hour bus there.

After the placement in the afternoon, might go to newcastle have fun or maybe come bk again. As he will reach Newcastle around 10pm.....we shall have fun for 4days.

Anyway, im totally exhausted today. Placement in the morning, lecture at 12pm, find A.Husband, 2pm seminar, bk Library discuss reports and then collect boxes out of bridges afterwards.

Real patients interviewing

Today is just so cool! developing a lot consulting skills which i never had before...we have 4 patients and all of them having different illness, we're trying to sort out what problems they have and advicing some treatments.

The first patient i have is a guy with itchy and red eyes. I know i ruined the first interview, dont really know what to ask as i missed the previous practice session. I just asked him to refer to his GP and let him go home with the same problem, i should prscribe some eye drops to ease his redness and itchness.

Second one: i have an old man, taking 10different tablets everyday and he felt so sick of taking all those drugs. He has Alzheimer's disease and heart problems. He cant rmb wat other drugs hes taking, other than aspirin. As usual, i asked his drug history, family history and social history. In the end, i told him that i will sort this problem for him by discussing with his GP, see anything the GP can do to reduce the quantity of the tablets. He seem statisfy in the end. im so pleased!!!

Third one: an old man taking loads of medications as well, somehow the coughing problems troubled him for few days dy and he really want to get rid of that. i forgot to ask his family history as hes quite scary and fuzzy.

Fourth one: a middle-aged man named Paul, his ear is buzzing and ringing, affects his working and his colleagues need to shout at him. i asked him when this condition happen, how often, which ear? hes quite co=operative at first but then i found out that his condition quie serious, i suggested him to refer to GP but he refuse. No way for him to see the doctor, hes not ill or dear, he said only sick patients go to see doctor. So i prescribed him ear drops and asked him to come bk pharmacy after 2-3days if his condition worsen. But still i suggest him to see the GP as this has affect his working performance.

Overall, i think i did much more better than i expected myself. i was nervous and worry about my performance as all these are video-taped! A good experience and i feel that i gain some skills today. learning bit by bit and few more years, i will be a professional pharmacist.

Moulds attacking

Hell noooooo.........Moulds growing on my window rails, How could this happen? The rails are made of alluminium,yuckyyy.....green green and black black de, look exactly like those moulds in his room.

As his room is attacked to the bathroom, so might be too damp, causing the moulds to grow on the ceiling, i spent hours to wipe them off, the smell really stink.....

Luckily those moulds in my room, not too terrible, as i found them earlier. I think this happen due to the high humidity inside my room when i on my humidifier. Gotta open the window tmr, to let some sunshine in to warm up my room!

im almost buried by the endless courseworks: presentations and assignments. I have a new strategy right now, doing those one by one. Somehow i feel to walk away and find a place to have a break.

i should spend more time trying to finish those, instead of thinking useless things. i feel imbalance since he went to KL for few days. Maybe due to his plan changed and i was told in the end, thats why i keep thinking a lot. i want to trust him more but at the mean time, i still feel scared of losing him.

Last night i was so depressed after coming back from doggy's house for Valentine sushi party. I think of what had i did in the past, i can never forgive myself, there will always be a scar on my heart, ugly one! im just a sinner, but i know that tas the only way out, i dont have another choice for that. I cried for almos an hour, tot i can wash my guilt away by the tears.

I really wanted to call you that time but i dont really want to ruin your Trip in Kl, as i knew that, i almost ruin your happy CNY holidays in miri, somehow over-reacting of meeting friends. Now I really trust you a lot as i can see your sincerity all the way. However, you always there for me when i needed you most! you were online in msn and comfort me but i cant help to stop crying.

i cant wait for my Valentine's Tee, by the way i have some surprises for you too. Hope you love them, i use my heart to present all those.

My honey and his family went to meet my famile yesterday on the very first day of Chinese New year! Everything going so smooth and nice except my mum kept telling my bad words to him. Luckily i wasnt there, or else i really want to dig a hole and hide myself inside. My mum showed him my photo album from baby till kindergarten like that. Walao yerr......

anyway, i bet my parents like him much! :P will call back home tomorow and see hows it went.

Im still having my sore throat, kept forgeting to bring water bottle to uni ervyday. Might be due to lack of sleep, im too tired these few days. Missing him every single minute, wonder how he doing in Miri, hes going to visit his auntie in Tudang today.

Phew....this morning's 2 hours lectures were cancelled, so nice, i slept till 9am but still havent fully charged lah! i had dreams about him, dreamt that we went to buy shoes for our baby, dreamt that ure washing plates in the kicthen and we kissed and hugged. SO sweet lehhhhh...i dont even want to wake up....

Oh gosh....im totally exhausted with the whole journey but at least i can spend our precious time together. GOD must be playing with me, everytime when im coming bk to Sunderland, theres always a lot obstacles!

Today, i left Chelmsford at 4pm using X30 while he's on his way to london after we kissed each other Goodbye at the bus station. When i reached Standsted airport, i wanted to shop a while but i saw so many ppl queue-ing to go through security check, theres about 200++ ppl each gate. It took me almos an hour to finish the security check, unfortunately, the guard searched my luagage bag, and took my fish curry paste and sweet & sour chicken paste away, as they are more than 100g.

Finally when i reached the waiting room, i start playing with my newly modified psp slim, playing Luxor. My flight was at 640pm, but theres a passenger from Newcastle collapsed on the plane so our flight was delayed for an hour waiting for the ambulance to come. The plane was fully seated when i got on it.

Luckily when i arrived Newcastle, i dont need to wait for luggage bag anymore and manage to ride the metro back home. Who knows the metro was suspended, so i need to get down from Gateshead and ride the metro again at Heworth. The annoucenment on the metro was not clear and i was lost i Gateshead Stadium, luckily, a HK gurl from my class saved me! Really appreciate her......

Anyway, im still lucky with all these bad things happen on me. took me 1.5more hours to get bk precinct, not too bad actually.

im gonig to bed after i finish this red bean with black jelly dessert.

im stupid wobbit.....i jus knew that the second numeracy test will be on week 29 instead of tomorow. phew...made me so stress these few days...

So now its allrite, jus a presentation tomorow, i always simply say something for 5min and then everything came to the end! tomorow i need go to carter's room to get the lecture supplement, i took one only that day. Actually theres two different copies. gosh, im so blurred!!!

i wonder if tomoro i com bk for lunch, guess nope, lecture till 1pm and then 2pm the seminar, guess i wil jus to Greggs grab pastry to eat. Been a while din try that one, i want to buy the chocolate custard donut there too, its so nice, better than the one in Krispy Kream, much better leh.

walao.....i dunno why i keep thinking that its already wednesday instead of tuesday tOday. jus had my breakfast and cooked a pot of soup for lunch and dinner later. i cant stand anymore so i threw the big bag of rubbish.....not ervyone in this block throw the rubbish, especially those create a lot rubbish but they jus dont bother even the bin overfilled! we suppose to have a rota but who cares?????

When im free or i have mood, i will throw the rubbish and cleaned those dirty plates dont belong to mine. I like my blockmates last year, they clean the things up once in a while. Unlike this year, ervyone just care about themselves, always mess up the kicthen.

Gotta revise the calculations bit later n then get ready for lecture at 1pm. i really hope this week can pass faster....

i should go to bed at 7pm jus now, but then i was feeling its still too early, so i got up and get a shower. watched some clips in youtube and do some calculations for the numeracy tests, im training for my speed, so that i wont nervous on wednesday!

havent prepare a single bit for the presentation, but we done the whole group's slides, gonna prepare my talk tmr morning, i dont have any chemistry lab tmr, and tat would be so great, tas mean i dont need to wake up early.

im thinking to have fried bread for my brunch! eggs with sugar and then mixed with the white bread, fried...tas it!!!!! i cant finished the loaf of bread......

Hello evryone there! i always want to have blog, although i used to have few, in blogspot, or frenster, theyre not existing anymore.I deleted the one in frenster, obvivously ervything inside are those sad memory. However, for the one in blogspot.com, i wanna sign in jus now but then i cant remember wats my username. Anyway, its a good start too!!!!!!!! another new BLOG!!! yippeeeeee

Maybe someone will wonder why is this blog named as yoshi and wobbit. The reasons are i gave him a yoshi, the dragon inside mario and then he gave me a wobbit from nici on christmas. Tas why ...he really like the yoshi i gave me, he hug him to sleep, instead of hugging me :( SO basically blog is about wat have i been recently rite??? for my dear frensss..........
Another busy week, i can feel all those pressure and stress coming along. i dont know why im so tense recently, might because of asking too much. Theres presentation, numeracy test and a nassignment for spectroscopy. Because of all these, i quit my part time so that i have more time to relax and enjoy my weekend. its good though!

its just wont stop raining, i dont really like raining day, instead hate it! hate being wet, my jeans and my socks....unlike him, he like when its raining but himself inside the house and enjoy the sound of raining, weird yea???!!!! 10more days and then i can see him again before he got back to MIRI for chinese new year, im gonna miss him as the nex time we can meet will be on easter! i really miss him a lot when hes not around. Everytime when i got back from his place, i start to miss him like hell. i dunno how many litres of tears are there? im a tough gurl, i kept telling myself not to cry, theres improvement too, i can 'tahan'til 2weeks time, then i went really mad.

Im gonna be alone this coming Valentine, i spent our aniversary alone too as hes not here as well. i saw a lot bears and presents for Valentine, when i went to Clinton yesterday. OH! i went out to buy pillows yesterday, my pillow too flat, tas why i cant sleep early these few days so i think it might be a suitable time to get myself a new pillow yea??

Honestly, i had a good sleep last nite. I dreamt about my family and him. nice nice....
